Peggy: You work today, right?
Sam: Yes, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Back on schedule again.
Peggy (noting the long string of days off): It was almost as if they forgot you.
Sam: Yes. But you can’t forget them.

That could be true on more than one level. So I’m wondering what he meant.
That’s what I love most about what he says, but in this case he did explain himself. He said that the bosses might forget to schedule you, but if you are scheduled, you better not forget to show up to work. 😉
He can cause one to pause.
